On Wednesday 26 May Boldon Auction Galleries will be welcoming the film crews, team – and classic car (!) - from the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip as two experts compete to see who can raise the most money at auction for the items they have purchased earlier in the week during their road trip through Britain.

Boldon Auction Galleries recent Fine Art & Antique Auction held on the 17th March 2010 was another sparkling success; the highlight of the sale being a fine 5.5ct square cut diamond ring flanked by two triangular cut diamonds in a platinum setting which sold for £18,000.

Boldon Auction Galleries last Antique Sale of 2009 was a sparkling success, the highlight of the sale being a 3.27ct emerald cut diamond ring selling for £10,700.
Other highlights included a 19th Century mahogany circular wall clock, which saw a bidding battle between room and telephone bidders finally clocking off at £1800....................

As we bid farewell to Summer and look forward to the Autumn months we reflect upon the last Fine Art & Antique Auction held at Boldon Auction Galleries on the 3rd June.
Once again the BBC Flog it! team led by presenter Paul Martin were in town. The team of experts had visited Sunderland’s Stadium of Light in early May for the Valuation Day. A record amount of people patiently queued to see the expert panel giving the BBC a wide and varied selection of items to film and include on the show from the 1,000 plus crowd..................
